Bananas, Coconuts, and Mulberries, what a combination! While I love a 20+ ingredient super-food smoothie as much as anyone, there can be such beauty in food that is simple yet elegant. I find this to be even more true when it comes to the right combination of flavors that balance out each other. The health benefits of bananas, coconuts, and bee pollen are well known, so I won't go over them here, but mulberries are not as well known, though they are starting to get recognition. Now, without further ado, here is a great recipe utilizing a few high quality ingredients that delivers just the right amount of sweetness and satisfaction!
Banana Creme ShakeYields about 2 cups 1 ½ large or 2 small Bananas ½ c Ice 2 ½ Tbsp Coconut Creme Vanilla ¼ c White Mulberries ½ c Water 1 tsp Jarrah Bee Pollen Optional Additions: 1 high quality pro-biotic capsule ½ Tbsp Cacao powder 1. Add all ingredients to high speed blender and blend on high till creamy consistency. It should now have the thickness of a milkshake. If you desire to it to be thinner simply add an extra 1/3 to ½ c water. 2. Pour into serving glass 3. Now add an additional 1 tsp Bee pollen on top of the shake and stir in. Drink and Enjoy!
