For the next two weeks I've decided to do a low sugar diet. Thanks to working at Vivapura and being surrounded by so many high-quality low-sugar products I'm finding it is going smooth so far...all two days of it! Often in the evenings I find myself wanting a creamy, warm and soothing beverage. Usually I'll make a chai maca milk which is perfect but usually sweetened. I rummaged through my cupboards trying to find the right combination of things that wouldn't require a concentrated sweetener. This little Cashew Spice Milk is what I came up with.
Cashew Spice Milk 1/2 cup Raw Cashews 1 tbs. mesquite 1 tbs. Lucuma Powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. Vanilla Powder 1 tsp. suma powder stevia to taste pinch of himalayan pink salt 3 cups water 2 tbs. Cacao Butter, melted Combine all ingredients except cacao butter in a high-speed blender. Blend on high. While running slowly drizzle in cacao butter. You can add a little warm water for a warm beverage of some ice cubes for a cool, frothy delight.
